Market Day at Birka

The Barony of Stonemarche invites you to a Market Day at Birka XXIV!  This annual event will be held on January 25-26, 2013 at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, NH.

Their Excellencies, Baron Juan Lazaro Ramirez Xavier and Baronessa Maria Pagani, have arranged for the following activities to amuse their guests: a large indoor market with nearly a hundred merchants, a Ball *and* a Hafla, an A&S display, classes, and martial activities including a heavy list bear pit tourney, fencing and youth combat.  

Also, it is the intention of Their Majesties of the East to hold a Royal Court, and Their Excellencies to hold a Baronial Court.  

Please join us as we ignore the cold, snow and ice outdoors, and have a fantastic time with our friends!

Merchants: Merchant registration is open!  Please see the "Merchant Applications" page for more information.  

Information regarding Minors: Parents and Guardians should be aware that areas of the event site are open to the public.  There are many exits from the building, along with the numerous hotel rooms.  Please be mindful of where your children are at ALL times.  The event site does not have Code Adam.

Volunteering for Birka: An event of this size requires a great deal of work, so any gentles interested in helping are encouraged to contact the autocrat in advance or refer to the web site for additional information.  We're always in need of volunteers to work gate and security - please see the "Contact Us" page for contact information.  Thanks in advance for any offers of assistance.
