Updates for this year:
- This year we are offering the opportunity to arrive and setup on Friday afternoon, and open for sales on Friday evening as well as Saturday. We anticipate starting Merchant setup at 3pm, and allowing sales from 7pm to 10pm. Once again, we are not requiring that anyone do so, but we hope many of you will choose to take advantage of the extra selling time. When you fill out your registration, please let us know when you expect to arrive, so we can plan accordingly.
- Please Be Aware, we are not responsible for the security of your space at any time. The doors will be open Friday evening from 7 pm to 10 pm.
- We had problems in the past with several merchants who assured us that they would pay at the door, then cancelled at the very last minute. We will be very strict about requiring payment in advance. If there are special circumstances (e.g. it is difficult and expensive for many Canadians to send payment in US funds), you may request to be allowed to pay at the door. You MUST send us a request , concerning this, upon which we will make a decision and notify you of the decision.
- There were also some problems last year regarding the use of loading docks, and parking in the lot for oversize vehicles. We will therefore be asking for specific information about the vehicle you will be bringing to the event if it will need to be in the oversized lot. We want to have a list of vehicles which should be there, so that if, as we did last year, we find that the lot is full of small vehicles which could be in the parking garage, preventing those of you who need it from using it, we can ask the hotel to take action regarding the unauthorized vehicles without fearing that we may be inconveniencing those of you who are supposed to be there
- Lastly, we are discontinuing general use of the Armory for merchants.
Too many of you have expressed unhappiness at being there. If you are
one of those who really want to be there, please ask and we'll accomodate
you. Otherwise, everyone will be in the Expo Center.
